Audi really seems to have taken of in popularity, either that, or I just associate more with people who can afford them than I used to. Anyway, is there a thread with pix and a quick run-down anywhere?

Well, I work for Audi as a tech, so I can vouch for the fact that they are flying off of the lot! The cars and SUV's have really come light years from the bad rep of the 80's. The S models are impressive. I drove a new S8 friday. 4.0 twin turbo, Quattro, 520HP. 3.5 0-60/11.5 1/4 in a 4000+ lb car!
The wife has been bugging me for 2 years for a Q5. They finally offered the supercharged 3.0 V6 for '13 so I took advantage of the very generous Employee Purchase Discount. All the pics are on my phone, when I get a sec I'll edit the post with one. It's black/black, S-Line, Sport Pkg, LED's, Brembo, etc

The coolest thing I received was a flag and plaque that my buddy had flown for me over Kandahar on my birthday this year.

My brother got me the same thing a couple of years ago. It's probably one of the coolest gifts I've ever received.

I really like the look of Audi, and have considered a CPO later on when I trade out of my 370Z. I have never owned a European car, and it's something I want to try out. I've owned American and now Japanese sports cars. So far, I much prefer American long-term. How are the Audi's for maintenance, etc? in the long run.

*I want my next car to cost $25-35K, CPO. Does Audi make a car that would perform comparably to my 370Z for that range? I think the S4/S5 are slightly behind me on the performance curve, even though they are slightly "nicer" cars (IMO).
