Honey Island Swamp shooting range is good. Theyve got up to 100 yards for rifles, some machines for skeet shooting, as well as a pistol range. Not too far past Slidell.

Should be about an hour for you. Took me an hour and a half from gretna.

Cutoff is fun. Ive been once and i spent the whole day there.. I used up waay to much ammo shooting at the steal targets..lol..its addictive... Ding..ding..ding..ding ding ding ding.

This is an awesome place and at $10.00 per day it’s an awesome value. They offer yearly memberships as well.

It's 80 miles away, but Coast Pistol and rifle Club , in Wool Market, MS., is a full service club , offering pistol, rifle, trap, skeet, archery. Membership is $200/yr.

Palo Alto is another option. You have to be a member or a guest. About an hour from Kenner.

Saorsa Acres in Bogalusa is another place to shoot out to at least 600 yards.
