    I was offered 2000 rounds of 22LR in a trade, and I wasn't sure what the going rate is. I know on gunbot that they are going for $0.30+, but I was wondering what someone on here would pay for 2000 rounds. I don't want to accept the trade if I do not think I can make up the difference in price, but if I can get that price I will go through with the trade.

    I personally wouldn't pay more than $100.00 for 2000 rounds of .22.

    Just my $0.02!

    Just paid Cabelas $30.00 for 500 rounds(.06 per round) includes tax, title, and shipping to my door on Thursday:}

    That's me assuming the email conformation means it's on the way and should be here next Friday as estimated.. lol

    I paid $140 for 2000 rounds and thought that was too high. I bought them anyway because, like a fool, I was
    down to 300 rounds of 22.
    I have 5250 on backorder from Cabelas, they cost $247/5250 delivered. That works out to $94 for 2000. I have
    been waiting since January 5th for the Cabelas order, and it is supposed to go out Monday.
    Hope this helps.

    What brand?
    Bulk?

    That maters. CCI Mini Mags are worth more that Winchester Western Bulk pack.

    The last CCI Mini Mags I bought at WalMart less that $23 for 300.

    I would never pay $.10 a round, but I'm not out of .22lr ammo.

    I was able to get 3 of my coworkers to get in on this same order for me for a total of 4 boxes, this came to 2000 rounds. The grand total was $120. This is the most I would ever pay for .22lr. They were Remington Thunderbolt which I have never shot but here is not the greatest round. I guess I consider myself lucky to get them though in this market. I just never would have guessed 22's would be as hard to get as they are now.

    I guess I sold mine to cheap, lol

    But then on the bulk 550 packs, I only paid right at 9 bucks a box at walmart. Guess those days are long gone...sigh

    I believe 550 packs of Federal were going for $18-19 at Wal Mart before this all started. Now I see them going for $70+ in places. 22 seems like the hardest ammo to find right now and is also the most inflated.
