Armed man reported acting 'strange' at Bell Tower theater

Kelly Hair, 51, was given a trespassing notice and was told not to return to the theater after deputies say he was located with a 9 mm Glock under his coat in a nylon holster, according to a sheriff’s office report. Deputies said Hair has a valid concealed weapons permit.

Deputies were called to the scene around 4:53 p.m. after witnesses saw Hair enter the building acting strangely and wearing a trench coat, sunglasses and a hat. Witnesses also told investigators he kept putting his hand inside his coat and pulled his hat over his face.

Hair turned the handgun over to deputies for safekeeping, according to the report.

    Dumb.

Even with a Smart Carry Rig, you can wear loose PT Shorts, a t-shirt, and still conceal easily.

He was probably walking around with his hand on it.

It sounds as if, more than likely, he wanted to be "found out". For some reason, certain breeds of people think the best way to fight against the "no carry" policies is to seek confrontation in the hopes of a bad experience.

Then again, this guy may have been a bona fide goofball, and simply didn't realize the 'Boris and Natasha' getup was a dead giveaway...
