Looking to buy a new ar. I dont want a polymer or composite gun. Which do you guys recemend? I had a DPMS Bull 20 it was just really heavy. Wanting to keep the price below $1500. Please help
If I had the money to spend on one right now I would go Daniel Defense. If it is a little out your range then maybe build it using DD parts where it counts and use other cheaper but quality parts for the "generic" stuff.
DD barrel, upper and lower.
Maybe a RRA LPK or something cheaper buffer kit etc
DD doesn't sell lowers, only with their complete rifles.
$1500 is a great budget for an AR and opens up a lot of options. Colt, Daniel Defense and BCM are my recommendations. Honestly though, the AR market is crashing and if I was in the market right now I'd keep an eye out for a quality used one at a great price. For example there was a like new Daniel Defense DDM4V7LW on m4carbine.net today for $1250 shipped.
Daniel defense m4v7 if i were to buy a new
Just another option

They also build a signature rifle for Kyle Lamb, and Kelly Alwood
These are excellent rifles, trusted be SF operators and LEO
I think that very rifle is I under $1500, I think it's close to $1300
A Colt 6920 can be purchased at Walmart for a little over $1K.
That's what I would buy if I had to go get an AR.

Their site shows base price at $1699?
I hate to say it but they also had several at the gun show. One was $1049/1095 and then one for $995.00 I was shocked .
For the price, the Colt is hard to beat.
