    depends what you want to do. for me, i target shoot, plink with it and don't use it as a precision shooting. so for me one minute of man works just fine... it does shoot better than that by the way... maybe 1.5 moa in general. i use ALL ammo, 308, 7.62 etc. and for whatever reason, it seems to shoot them all just about the same. as a matter of fact i am taking her out today for military shooting day fun... m1a, m1 carbine, springfield 1902, henry, all getting their legs stretched today

    Most guns seem to work better over time after x rounds are put through them. I generally buy bulk ammo (like from SG Ammo) and like to put various types and quality of ammo through a gun during it's break in. The m1a is not a cheap gun so I wouldn't want to shoot something that is problematic. I was asking if someone had input as to what they put through their m1a during break in.
