I recently purchased a Kahr 1927A1 from an individual. The rifle jams after almost every shot fired. I sent it back to the factory and they "fixed" it and sent it back. I took it to the range and it jammed on the first bullet and almost every one after that. I have tried 8 different stick mags and 1 drum and they all jam the same way.

I say it's a jam, but actually I just have to pull the bolt back and let it go and the next shell seats. The spent cartridge is ejected after it fires. So really the rifle just won't complete the cycle. I don't believe its the springs as they are very strong.

I am hoping to find someone that knows these weapons and can make this piece reliable. Otherwise it's about to become a piece of art on the wall.

Are you only using FMJ projectiles? I have one that is SBR'd. I have it set up for blanks and it took a bit of work to get it working right. There is a company that makes reduced recoil springs that may help. I konw a lot of guys that did blankguns went to the reduced strength springs and it cured the problems.

I thought about changing the springs and that will be my next move. The bolt is very hard to cycle by hand. I was hoping when I sent it back to the factory they would have checked the amount of force required to cycle as I told them it was tight. When it came back the same way I thought it must be within tolerance. I am only using Remington FMJ shells, as research indicates these rifles only shoot quality shells.

I have no tolerance for a weapon that will not fire every time the trigger is pulled!
