But it really doesn't matter -- Electoral College will vote for the Democratic runner.

The Democrat will almost always win the following states: California 55, Connecticut 7, the District of Columbia 3, Delaware 3, Hawaii 4, Illinois 20, Maine 4, Maryland 10, Massachusetts 11, Michigan 16, Minnesota 10, New Jersey 14, New York 29, Oregon 7, Pennsylvania 20, Rhode Island 4, Vermont 3, Washington 12, and Wisconsin 10. -- Republicans haven't won New York, Oregon, Washington, or Wisconsin since 1984.

Republicans haven’t won California, Illinois, Michigan, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania since 1988.

Those states are worth 183 electoral votes. The projection right now is that the Democrat likely enters the 2016 election with a base of 242 electoral votes. -- this leaves Democrats just 28 electoral votes needed to take The White House, while the Republican needs an additional 100 electoral votes to win. There are only 126 electoral votes left among the 11 battleground states. And that is how Obama got elected twice and (insert Sanders/Hillary) will win in November.

    Sad.

I DO NOT trust Trump, although I cheer a lot of what he's sayin'.
I like Cruz, but it seems everybody he'll have to work with hate him.
    For me, that leaves Rubio.

On the other side we have a Commie and a Criminal.

Over three hundred million people and this is the best we can do?!?
    Beam me up, Scotty. :D

It's like you're in my head, but I'm sticking by Cruz because even though he'll likely get nothing done, he won't make things worse by sticking to his guns.

I have committed to Cruz for 1 primary reason: his record is that he is a Constitutionalist, someone who will abide by what the Constitution allows the President to do and no more. That bodes well for all of our 2nd Amendment rights, which we hold dear.

When I look at every other candidate, especially Trump and the Socialists (ie. the old Democrat party), I am willing to bet my house that they will do whatever they want (kinda like our current White House occupant) and completely ignore the bounds of the Constitution.

If only we could get the other 2 prongs of our government to do the same - if the Congress would abide by their duty to keep the President's power in check and if the Judicial branch would stop legislating from the bench!!!

Please seriously consider Cruz before you pull the lever for Trump. I don't see Trump's strategy of calling people ugly names when they don't agree with him helping our country over a 4 year term of office and I still continue to hear lots of conclusions (we'll fix the tax situation, we'll fix the border, etc.) but he never backs up the conclusion you want to hear with a realistic plan of action - I feel like I am listening to Bill Clinton speeches when I hear Trump, as I feel he is trying to say what everyone wants to hear, but has no way or no plan to accomplish what he is saying.

As much as I feel about Clinton, Trump, sir, is no Bill.
Please listen to this guy. Trump would be disastrous to the U.S. and not just because he lashes out at people like a 7 year old red headed step child. He literally makes stuff up as he speaks. Now he may actually do what he says, but the scary thing is you never know what he's about to say.
