**RELISTED** Smith & Wesson Model 15-4 Combat Masterpiece. Caliber .38 S&W Special. 4 inch barrel. Adjustable sights. Nickel finish. Good conditon. Minor finish inperfections. Locks up tight. Where was it made? What is the (approximate) serial number?
What are the minor imperfections?

Well, I'm not 100% sure; but to my knowledge ALL nickel model 15s were made in the USA. They quit issuing the nickel ones in 1987. The serial number is 284K9XX. One minor scuff on the crane, probably from the snap on a holster. And a couple of barely noticable dots on the frame. It is NOT a new weapon. It has been used, but definitely not abused.

Oops! I meant to ask, "WHEN was it made?" The late 70s to the 80s sounds about right with that serial #.
