Yeah, hence the seemingly high price on my Rossi. Replacement is difficult.
You can't find anything decent at a reasonable price. The Heritage stuff is pretty good for the price but try finding something in between Heritage and S&W that is moderately priced.

A S&W Model 17 recently sold here for over $400 . I have one just like it . I wouldn't sell mine for less than $500 . I like it too much to consider anything less . Like derf said , replacement is difficult . I wish you luck .
