WTB: 22lr rifle with aperture sights

looking for a 22lr for my kid to compete in NRA 3 position. Anybody got a savage mark 2 FVT sitting in the closet? Other rifles considered also. Thanks,

Depending on your childs age, you might also concider a Marlin 2000L. It has target peep sights and aperture front globes. I have one but not willing to part with it. I can shoot it better at 50 yds than I can a savage with a scope. I currently use an Anschutz for our local matches at Nicks on Saturday.
