i'm pretty sure that henry is making the AR7 now. probably just going to end up ordering one if nobody pops up with one for sale.

Get the Henry version if possible. The AR-7's are known for being a major headache but if you get something from Henry you can count on it being reliable. They make good stuff.

I'd be willing to bet CavalryJim has never has an issue with his Henry.

I have a Henry and really like it.

i talked to my dealer today and went ahead and ordered one. should have it in a week, two at the most.

it was somewhat cheap, i figured if it is reliable then it will replace my winchester in the bug out bag. then i'll just order another one to play with.

the henry version is supposed to be solid, but just like any other gun, you never know until you shoot it. should be a fun little toy.

if anyone has one for sale locally i'll still buy it btw
