Looking to mount an EOTech to an M4 with carry handle. I've seen people sell cantilever mounts on BS before.

    Thanks!

Cheapest I've seen for these things (in a VERY quick search: Google Search For: Cantilever, Carry Handle Mount) is $116 for one from Midwest. Don't know the manufacturer, but are Army issue. How's $60 shipped? Make me an offer though if that's a ridiculous price. It's never been mounted/used. Just sat in a box since I've got them.

    Hi Rich,

The one made by Midwest is an adjustable mount (which I prefer). http://dsgarms.com/ProductInfo/MIMCTAR-2C.aspx

Actually, OpticsPlanet sells an non-adjustable one here for $109.99 shipped. $139.99 shipped for adjustable model.

$60 sounds good; the only concern I have - will it be the correct height to co-witness with A2 iron sights? I think I may need to get a riser in addition to the cantilever mount.

    Thanks,
    Ken

OK, I spoke with a rep from EOTech. He mentioned that my model, a 556, has a 7mm rise (not exactly sure where that is measured from) and a fixed cantilever mount will typically set the EOTech so that the POA of the EOTech is slightly higher than the iorn sights. In other words, the iron sights will be visible throught the window, but will be lower than the red dot.

    Sounds good to me!
