I kinda like the G-19's. It's a good compromise between a compact, and a full size. It also has a nice feel if your hands aren't overly large. I guess like everything else, it depends on what you want the gun for.

If I cant find a used glock at less than a new price, I will consider buying new. I understand they hold their value but... Unless you are a famous bank robber I cant see paying new prices for a used gun.

Keep in mind that tax adds about $40 to $50 to a new glock.

But other than that yeah no point in paying new price for a used or otherwise second hand glock.

You should be paying $400-$450 for a used 9mm glock depending on condition, figure in $20 per extra mag and $50 for night sights. Less for a Glock in .40, or a rough 2nd gen gun. No box and such might drop the price a couple bucks.

I have not had to pay more than $400 for a used Glock with night sights in 9mm or 45acp yet. I have actually purchased some Glocks for less than $400 new!
