Someone stated cabelas has one? Last I checked with them they had a indefinite order time to get me one. They had one 45/70 last I checked.

Last three gun shows there have been lots of h&r 45/70's and 500's no 444's.

Its becoming a very popular big bore round.

Of the calibers we're allowed to use in Miss. for "primitive weapon" it's the flattest shooting. I shot an 8pt with mine this year, worked really well.

I've taken 2 deer with mine its very effective. both under 100yds both open sights with my model 336 444 looking for the primitive H&R in the same caliber
