WTB: Marlin 1894 or 1894c

I'm looking for a JM marked only Marlin 1894 (.44mag/spec) or 1894c (.357mag/spec) that's in very good to excellent condition.

Willing to pay $850

What does JM stand for?

Jm means it was made in the New Haven factory which is of higher quality before Remington bought Marlin out.

I don't know if you are interested, but I do have an 1894P that I purchased new in about 2000. I can't read everything on the top of the barrel because it has an AO scout scope mount along with a set of AO ghost ring sights on it.

The link is a beautiful rifle but noticed it has the crossbolt safety and didn't realize they made this when JM was still boss in charge.
