I'm looking to find a used or relatively cheap AR-15 so that I can expand on it as I acquire funds to get into 3-Gun. I'm looking to spend in the neighborhood of $500-$700. Or if you have a cheap lower or upper for sale to that would work great as well. Thanks for the help!

Jason is def GOOD 2 go

BUT keep in mind 3gun AR15's are not the average carbine, you will pay $1000 just for an upper, they are built as tack drivers

Think of it as a race car, eventhough a stock camaro SS is pretty fast it has NO chance against a race car that was built for speed and not comfort of a daily driver

    I agree 100%

PSA makes a great gun for plinking, hunting, etc... I wouldn't recommend it for serious competition. Saying that, I have shot MOA with mine and I am not as big time shooter like other people here.

Thanks for the suggestions. I understand that I won't have a top notch AR, I'm a college student, I can't afford top notch. I'm just looking for something to get me into the sport, and that I can either upgrade with new higher quality parts, or replace the gun with something nicer in the future. And right now I really just want an AR, I'm slightly concerned that they will disappear all together if Obama gets re-elected.

Can't go wrong with a PSA then.
