If I was about to spend 2K+ on a gun I would know EXACTLY which one I wanted. Just any flavor of several manufactures just seems careless.

Full custom can be crazy money and a crazy long wait. I am 6 months into my Wilson wait right now and its killing me.

Funny I was just reading 1911forum.com and a guy ordered a full custom back in 2001 or 2002 and is still waiting on it. Another guy ordered one from the same smith and it took him right at 10 years to get it. Not saying this is true for all full customs but still crazy nonetheless.
