That's a beautiful gun, wish I had the extra cash right now, as for a CCW gun it's great, I carry a similar one that's black and hammerless, loaded with some hot defensive rounds it great for defense and very comfortable to carry.

Medical STUDent = "STUDent Doctor" = "Stud Dr" !

It is the level before "Intern". For four years of college, it is "pre-Med Student". First two years of Med School, it is "Med Student".

Last two years of Med School, they perform many "doctor" functions; like delivering babies, repairing lacerations, assisting @ surgery, writing prescriptions, ordering tests, etc. They are called "Stud Drs" to distinguish from the earlier "Med Students" & the later "Interns".

The long years of training offer gradually increasing levels of responsibility and duties.

Also, the students who make it this far are virtually assured of getting their MD's. The "Stud Drs" get to wear the short white coats at LSU & Tulane.
