I found this bayonet in a old house i just got. It was in the attic jamed between 2 rafters. Has S&K stamped into the blade and has 2184 and JJS stamped in the handel and a anchor on both the blade and the ledge above the blade. I found that JJS is the name of the inspector who worked for the company from 1832 to 1868 the bayonet was intended for the Colt revolving rifle and were navy issued. Not sure what its worth or anything but i am sure that its an original and not a fake or re-make. Want to trade this for a hand gun don't have anything special in mind jus let me know what you want to trade. Thanks
