    That is one of those things that seem like a good idea at the time. I know what it is like to watch kids who take everything for granted, it's frustrating. The school didn't think it through. They should have known this was going to happen when the truth came out. You gotta know that the parents are just as bad.

    We have to worry about our own kids. Hard times have a way of making people step up to the plate. If they don't, then nature takes care of the rest.

    While England was bombed hard during WW2 ,this sounds excessive without the word DRILL being explained to the students. In the 50's schools had Air Raid drills where I attended ,however we were explained as a DRILL.

    A lot of it depends on the age of the kids. If they're in junior high or above then they should be able to handle it. If they're in elementary school then it's just scary with no real lesson to be learned.
