    guys,

I just left the Wal Mart in Pr'ville and left 6 boxes of 100 rd 9mm and 2 boxes of 100 rd .45 on the shelf for anyone else who might need some. Didn't want to be too greedy!

The price is still the same too.
    20.00 a box for 9mm
    30.00 a box for .45

Walmart on Seigen has a decent amount also.

I want to say as of yesterday noonish they had about 8 100 rd. boxes of 9mm @19.97 ea. They had allot of 50 rd. boxes of 9mm also.
and maybe 4 100 rd. boxes of .45 not sure on price
    and I left 1 100 rd. box of .40 @ 27.97 ea.

I go in a lot of the Wal-Marts around the Baton Rouge area every week, and it seems that they have been restocking their ammo much more regularly than they had been in the recent past. I know Cortana had some as well as recently as Thursday. If any of you would like me to keep an eye out for any particular caliber/brand/price point or something on Wal-Mart ammo, PM me and I'll let you know if I see it.

I went to the Covington Walmart Sunday, there was not a SINGLE box of ANY handgun ammunition on the shelves. I mean literally nothing. It was unbelievable. Maybe the weekend is a bad time to go ammo shopping.

My wife talked to the lady at the ammo counter at the Zachary Wally World. She said they restock the ammo in the mornings and there are men lined up waiting for it because they think there is a 500% ammo tax coming.

I was at the Covington Walmart on Friday and bought a box of WWB 9mm. They had about 8 boxes left. Guess somebody got it all Saturday...

Just left the Walmart in Pineville and they have 8-10 100-round packs of 9mm WWB and (2) 50 round packs of 40. I know there are a few Alex/Pineville folks here looking for ammo, so I left some for ya:D

    LaPlace
Wal-Mart in LaPlace has not had any .45acp in a while. The lady there said that there are trucks delivering every night, but only two boxes of ammo if any on each truck. Most of the ammo coming in is .40. 9mm & .45 are hard to come by. Can anyone clear up why this is? Is it just the "so-called" 500% tax increase? Is this really going to happen? If so, when?
She said that there are guys there every morning at 7am and buy everything that comes in. Also, 5.56 (.223) is another hard to come by.

Myself and about five others need .45...........

    Any help is appreciated!

Nothing in New Iberia as of Blazer brass or WWB in 9mm or .40cal,a little .45. I got lucky in Breaux Bridge on the 9 and 40 in WWB. I'm still looking for the .223 Federal 100 boxes.

nick i know basspro had piles of remington 9mm for about $9 a box a couple of weeks ago.
Iwent to check after reading this, they have plenty at 12.99/ box of 50, all in a bin next to the shooting range. I'll keep checking at Walmart and buy a little at Academy when I see it (10.49/ 50 Monarch brass cased)

no problem... gave me an excuse to go. I found a nice button up shirt on clearance for $10 and picked up some of their spicy chicken fry batter, used the batter on some deer backstrap and it was amazing

Cortana WalMart has two boxes of blazer brass in 45, one box of wwb in 45, and two of the umc 250rd mega packs in 45. That is just about it. I am currently looking at the case.
