Just thought I'd invite y'all out. I'll be pouring a brew of my own in the tasting. Its a hoppy 8% American Brown Ale. The event benefits the public broadcasting station in New Orleans http://www.wyes.org/beer/

Man, I would love to go to that. But I would get trashed and not have any way to get back home.

What he said. And the fact that I am 6'7'' and 300 pounds my wife and friends tend to cut me off early. They know they cant help me to a car. LOL

It was a good time had by all. Me and the g/f went. Dropped gear off early, then went to Avenue Pub for some food and a starter brew. Parked the car at a friends after that and cabbed it over to the arena. After called my buddy and he came and picked us up. Only cost me a case of beer for a ride and a place to sleep for the night:D. Homebrews were the hit again this year, and the new Micro Breweries got a lot of shine too. Tin Roof, LA 31, Parish Brewing, and Lazy Mag to note a few locals.
