I have been waiting for what seemed like forever to get my XDS back from Springfield. Well it finally arrived a few days ago. Imagine my surprise (shock) when the UPS guy dropped off 2 boxes, each with an XDS in them! I was expecting Springfield to throw in an extra magazine or such as a "gift" for the trouble, but another pistol? Wow, that is too much.
Turns out that even though the shipping box had my name and address on it, the packing slip on the inside had the name and address of the rightful owner (from another state altogether). I called Springfield and the guy on the phone could not thank me enough for calling. It is now on it's way home, I am sure that guy is also wondering what is taking so long.
Oh, they did send a 7 round magazine along with the one that belongs to me. And after the phone call to sort it all out, they are sending another box of goodies (hat, shirt, etc).
