    At the case round count, this should be current Lake City brass in Federal's new consumer packaging. As such, should be GTG to reload, unless I'm missing something.

    I have never seen or heard of complaints with LC brass.
    It is my understanding that the Federal brass is struck less times when creating the primer pocket. Thus the case head is work hardened less and is softer. Highpower shooters have complained about this for several years now. I routinely throw my Federal brass in the scrap bucket. Losing a primer during a match can be a bitch.

    I sincerely apologize for getting everyone's hopes up, but it appears the price I was quoted was for DEPARTMENTAL PURCHASES ONLY. The prices for individuals does not make it worth the trouble for any of us. Also, I am not looking to catch a tax evasion case either. LOL:eek3:
