Your Other Hobbies?

I saw one of these on another forum, and it was neat to see what people did outside of firearms.

I've got WAY too many hobbies, and not enough time/money.

They range from:


Sportscars (2 Seaters only - your Mustang is not a "sportscar" )
Ham Radio
Autocross/Road course racing
Car audio (SPL, not SQ)
Scooters (Vespa, Buddy, etc.)
Coin collecting
Mini-moto racing/stunting


I also enjoy playing monopoly and winning .

What other stuff do you guys do?

Well Pat, I enjoy mowing grass in real hot weather
cleaning my ditches so the snakes won't breed there
weed eating, specially when I hit ground hornets
moping, sweeping and vacuming are great relaxers as well

Then a good hot soaking of my hands while I do the dishes and off to bed

Big into MMA and ju-jit-su.
I also enjoy football (watching and playing flag)
I'd like to get into making my own beer and wine but have not yet.
I do dishes also but I don't know if I would consider it a hobby.

I like to work on and race my 71 Chevelle drag car, ride my 4 wheeler/mud ride with the kids, and to relax I like to fly my radio control model airplanes. That covers the main hobbies anyway, there are more though.

same for me but replace drag racing with fishing. we like to ride the ATV trails at the spillway after a good rain.

I was a Blues/Funk/Classic Rock drummer before my health got so bad, now I can play a song or two on my Congas or Doumbek before I am done for the day. I used to be heavily involved with the SCCA and was a Safety Tech and held the H/S championship in the red River Region one year as well as won the Sportsman of the Year one year. These days I mostly tinker with computers and go and listen to my friends bands and join them on stage in a song or two.
