Hey guys. Hoping our resident experts can help me out. At the range last week my Yugo basically converted itself to a bolt action. After some inspection I noticed the nut holding the gas block pin/bolt in place had come loose. I assume the pin rotated to grenade launcher position.

My question is: what is the correct orientation of the pin for semi auto fire? (Pictured assembly for illustration purposes)

After examining the leaf sight, I noticed the pin can only go one of two ways due the horizontal opening on one sight of the sight. 1) notch down or 2) notch up. After looking at the gas holes I decided to go notch down with the idea that that orientation provides the best flow of gas to the piston/bolt carrier.

Of course I'll shoot it to make sure I got it right. Then loctite that nut.
