Well, I can count my wiki-bible friends on one hand.
But you beat me there
I used to really enjoy both shows but they lay on the reality TV act so thick that I can't watch either anymore.
I can't stand either one. I only watch SOG to see if I'm on it at all, or if there's something on the show I can make fun of a coworker for.

I will watch both because I like firearms. If you view them with the understanding that they are staged and probably require staging and scripting then you can stomach them. Here are my issues with both.
American Guns
Whoring of the daughter
Ridiculous sales being made with to much flashing of mone
Bragging that they are the only shop that can do what they do
The morbidly obese gunsmith who makes me feel like he could have a heart attack at any moment
The repetitive final shot explosion
Sons of Guns
Don't believe that anybody who walks in there is real
Kris and his village idiot act with the over the top acting
The whole drama with Vince
The romance between Kris and Stephanie
The repetitive final shot explosion
I will continue to watch because there are still guns involved and I do like the Louisiana based SOG. I just think that the success of the show has been both a blessing and a curse for Red Jacket. I wish them success as a LA based company but you have to believe that the shows producers want drama. I think that can also be said of American Chopper. The had amazing success but it screwed the family up forever.
