      Ar Platform. 6.5 vs 6.8

      My understanding is that the 6.5 grendel has slightly better ballistics at long range. One thing the 6.8 can do that the 6.5 can't is cycle with subsonic suppressed rounds. Not sure if thats a consideration for you but thought I'd throw that out there.

      Hydro dipping.....educate me please!

      Hydro dipping actually isn't very durable at all. It comes off just like spray paint would. You can, however, use clear Cerakote on top of the hydro dip and it will be pretty durable. If you use the glossy cerakote it will be shiny or you can choose the matte option. Hope that helps
