The Winchester PowerPoint 64gr Factory loads work well on deer.
My buddy in east Texas uses them regularly on hogs and deer. He says the bullet mushrooms to about 35 cal and is found on the offside under the hide.
I think he shot about 30 hogs and 9 deer with it. Works about like a 243.
I have some Barnes Originals in 70gr that I'm going to try.

Can anyone tell me how many rounds of ammo you are allowed to have in a mag while deer hunting? Do I need to have a smaller magazine if the rounds are limited to a certain number?
