Mr. Tint does some good work though.
I had a personal encounter with the Sign Nazi. He thought he was going to take up one of my signs as soon as I placed it. He would have run me over if he had the chance, the deal is we don't just dump signs, we talk to property owners before placing a sign. Sure, sometimes they end up in a Right of Way, but most are on private property and I informed him the sign he was stealing was on private property and if it wasn't replaced without damage I would press charges. He jumped in his truck and sped off. I am sure he got a bunch of other signs, the guys that cut the grass where I have signs placed pull them up and put them back or cut around them. My signs tend to be more popular than your average stump grinding/headlight shining/window tinting/windshield repair signs.
God I wish someone would file charges against this guy for going onto private property and stealing a sign. Why people feel the need to interject their opinions on others just escapes me. Its sad that he probably actually thinks he is doing good!
Oh don't be that guy. No one likes that guy.

The only issue I have is the signs being on public land......
Okay - let me get a bunch of yard signs made up with Internet Porn advertisements and put them up in the medians (that's a neutral ground for you locals!) I'll bet the local code enforcement or LEO's would be quick to take them down but for all other signs they seem to cast a blind eye.
Furthermore, lawn cutters will have to pick them up every time the grass needs to be cut -- more often than not they just cut around them and then the grass is 2' tall! This also goes for the "shrines" for people killed in traffic accidents. I'm not saying I don't feel bad for the families...but why a shrine there? My Dad died in Oschner Hospital room 306. I didn't go set up a shrine there and maintain it in that room.
IMHO - it just looks trashy anyway.
Okay - I put my flame suit on - take aim!!! hahaha
Look, I'm not against advertising or signs -- but there is a legal way to do it. Placement on public rights of way is prohibited by law --

I agree with you on shrines. I've repeatedly told all of my family members if I ever die in a traffic accident DO NOT erect a shrine for me in the place that I experienced the most pain and/or terror in my life. "See that white PVC cross with the dead flowers hung on it? That's where Verm crashed into a concrete embankment, tore his arm half off and bled out while screaming because his leg was on fire."
Furthermore, I don't want my family members risking their lives tending some morbid memorial on the side of the interstate.
