I got fired from a job I had for over 10 years for refusing to take the "mandatory" flu shot. I was told the company insurance policy required a flu shot for every employee. They called my bluff and canned me within days of refusing the shot. I don`t think that should be legal, but under La. law employees can be fired for whatever reason an employer cares to come up with if you do not have some sort of legally binding employment contract. Sux!
