The double stacks do hold more ammo but it has to fit your hand.

When I was shooting USPSA, I basically didn't have any grips on the 16-40 Limited. I was shooting grip tape on the frame. It was very comfortable for me.

Handle a few before you buy. I have never had a problem with my Paras.

why not get the extensions that add to mag capacity? pretty much the same size. I took the extender off the mag I use for IWB carry, it didnt add much length to the grip but it caused it to print a good bit more with the extender.

I would really like to know how you like that SSII. I am thinking of either that or a VMII. How long was your wait for the SSII?

i dont know really. since i am so small 5'6 140lbs it feels a bit bulky to me(i wish i drank more milk as a child). i like my cheap nylon p.o.s. iwb holster. dont get me wrong, the milt sparks holster is nice, i guess i just have to get used to it a bit more. to me it feels bulky, but the gf doesnt notice it when we go out.
she always says, "are you gonna bring your gun with you?".
me: "nope, i already have it"

i didnt buy it from the miltsparks homepage. i bought my holster from brownells.com
same price $85. i opted for ups ground which was 10 bucks and recieved it within 4days. or you could do usps slug mail for $5 and get it probably 7+days.

^^ How much did that set you back? $

    Are 1911's practical for CCW?/CHP/CCL?

(mostly) any gun is practical w/ lots of practice. the 1911 is a great gun

I brought the gunsite to the range Saturday and about every third round the brass hits me in the forehead. I think I am going to have to send it to S&W and have them change the recoil spring....sucks.

Wow Pangris those pistols are nice. Those top two are especially nice. The top right one looks like a Colt Delta Elite 10mm and the other looks like a Kimber custom 45. One day I hope to own some nice pistols like that.

For a glock that 21 was pretty nice when i shot it. Just kept looking after each shot to make sure i wasnt gonna lose the top of my hand. Was like a sigh of relief after each shot. Nice gun though over all.
