There will be a lot of people that will say different things about Nighthawk. Although I have not even shot mine yet it is what I went with. After a lot of research and reading they had the best possible combination of upgrades and or standard features that I was looking for and or wanted.

I have shot a Wilson Combat that was amazing, thank you 1911Dave. I promise you, you will have someone come along and slam NHC here shortly.

I like my Wilson too but I have a friend who has a Nighthawk and he loves it. He has nothing but good things to say about it and he shoots a lot.
He still wants a Wilson though.

NH is an excellent company. It was started by guys who branched off from Wilson. NH is up there with the other 3 top tier 1911 makers (Brown, Wilson, Baer, NH).

I have a NHC Heinie Tactical Carry and that is one fine weapon. I put about 500rds through her so far with no issues what's so ever. Also, there was a member on this forum who was selling his NHC AAC 9mm w/o threaded barrel. I don't know if he sold it, but I know I sure wanted it.
