Post-cleanup. Fell asleep on it in the vinegar, but it still came out to my liking.

Excellent. That's a great pocket knife. Got mine in my pocket right now.

It still has a halfway decent edge on it. I don't have anything but what I use on my kitchen knives for sharpening, so I'm gonna see if I can get a work buddy to sharpen it for me. I really like it, think I might actually carry it more than my others.

There are many good Damascus knife makers now. It's kinda like a revived art. Do a Google search and also check EBay, you'll find some really good deals.

A DMT Aligner and a pocket lighted microscope will get you far as far as sharpening goes. Use that for a bit then go to a regular stone once you get a good idea for what it takes to sharpen a knife.

3D carbon fiber, shirogorov hati in Elmax. Freaking sweet blade. I could get used to this one. Ti backspacer on these ones.

    Tom, that Northwoods looks nice.

SVTFreak, I'm jealous. Very jealous. Everything Davison touches is pretty sweet.

I'll just hang out with my Case Muskrat.
