I'm not doubting it's worth it, I tend to spend too much money on things like tools and electronics for probably similar reasons. Being handmade, I can see why it's not really possible, but I wish I could go somewhere and hold one. I've come to like my Schrade more than my low-end Kershaw and Smith and Wesson, but I'll be looking for something more durable soon. I strip a lot of cable with it and get scared I'm going to bend the blade.
I saw that one, Tom. If I didn't already have a couple different irons in the fire, you wouldn't have gotten it lol. Did you see the ivory trapper he had also?
Yes, another nice one, but I didn't like the cracks on the bolster end.
Ahh yes. I don't care for cracks either.
Vince says the material is solidly epoxied on and isn't going to crack more, but it is aesthetically displeasing to me.
