Maybe determined is the correct term. Either way, you want to get your running up much more than I do. I need to have abs three weeks from now. Not working too well so far.

Determined is a good fit. I'm determined to get in shape.

Sounds like its working pretty well. What is your goal weight?

    --Sent From My Galaxy S4

    225 was my goal.
200 was an unrealistic goal I set.
175 was the crazy goal I set.

As of right now I'm more focused on meeting a certain set of voluntary physical standards my employer has set for us. Whatever weight I am when I reach these standards I'll be satisfied.

"Easy" Right. An easy 6:32 mile is just comical. But seriously, that's impressive. Keep it up!
Thanks, At one time (1995-2008) 6:32 was my recovery run days pace on 5-8 milers. But I was training to race during that time (HS/College XCTrack/Post college meets).
I'm not out to break my mile personal best, but to simply get some general fitness back. I'll have plenty of opportunities this summer while training my athletes. If my legs hold up that is, lol.
Oh, and my quads are sore today!!!

Is one of those standards running a certain time in the mile?

This evening before work, a fit in an easy 15:00 minute run. I covered 1.61 miles.

    JR1572

That's still pretty good. This is what I am doing next week. Going to start training for that race while still working on summer shape too:

    Monday: Speed 1.0 + Running -- Shoulders & Arms
Tuesday: Ab Intev + Runing -- Legs & Back
Wednesday: Speed 2.0 + Running -- Chest Shoulders Triceps
Thursday: Ab Intev + Running -- Cardio Abs (Insanity) + Bi / Tri
    Friday: Speed 2.0 + Running -- Off?

The first workout is T25 so, 25 mins. I will probably run for 15 every morning right after it.

I didn't run today, the kiddo had surgery for ear tubes so I went to be superhero daddy instead.

I'll be running for time tomorrow at 5am. Here's aiming to knock another 30sec off my times.

This morning I ran 2 miles in 18:12.

That's the price I had to pay for eating like a savage yesterday.

    JR1572

I ran one mile in 8:25 and then a quarter in 1:45. That was after my T25 speed workout.

I've been down that road. I hope they stay in there. My little savage is on her second set.

I would like to be a minute faster than today's time tomorrow.
