So it is nearly identical dimension wise to a shield, holds 1 or 2 less rounds, and MSRP is $130 higher? No thanks

The G43 is .350 shorter in height and 3 oz. lighter than a shield with a longer slide and barrel and a 10 round magazine will be optional from Glock.

JBP55- any idea if it will take existing aftermarket sites, maybe ones for the 42? Or whether anybody has something ready to come to market? I would imagine not, because of the frame width. I want one in a bad way, but I want to put Ameriglos on it.

Probably so, ask Rick at Ameriglo.

As much as I want this gun, and as badly as I want to reward Glock with my hard earned dollars for making the dream come true - I don't think it replaces the 26 for me, personally. Something about a small gun with a giant magazine sticking out of it just feels so 'merica.

I'm thinking this would be an awesome option for AIWB on those lazy days you just really don't feel like putting on a gun belt. Like, if you're just making a quick run to the grocery store or something. Definitely not an EDC gun, but a great backup for when you need it. Of course there's always the shield, and a few other options, but... Glock.

    I agree. I would like a G43 to go with my G26, G19, G17, G34. I do not have or want a G17L because I prefer the G34.

This is making my decision harder. I have a GSSF coupon that expires next month. I have been on the verge of going with a 26 to add to my 19 and 17, but this is making me think about hard. My wife has a 42 and it is super easy to carry and a nice shooter. My current "tiny" gun is a LCP. The 26 was going to be something smaller to carry depending on clothing vs. the 19/17. The 43 looks great, but I hate to give up the ability to use the same mags/holsters with all my stuff.

Long term solution is to get 'em both...

idk, the appeal to the 26 (among others) is the mag flip-flop combo with its big brothers. edc for me is a 26 and a huge mag. i just... its beautiful.
