As much as I want this gun, and as badly as I want to reward Glock with my hard earned dollars for making the dream come true - I don't think it replaces the 26 for me, personally. Something about a small gun with a giant magazine sticking out of it just feels so 'merica.

I will try out the G43 when they are available with HST 147gr.+P and the new Gold Dot G2 147gr. which is the new FBI 9mm round.
Most of the 9mm defensive ammunition I have tried penetrated and stayed in the third water jug and occasionally one would break the surface of the third jug and fall back into the second jug.
I fired 2 rounds of the new G2 into water jugs with 4 layers of denim and 2 rounds without denim and all 4 rounds penetrated and stayed in the fourth jug.

Yes, they are about $40 less than a normal small frame Glock.

I love how in the GLOCK product announcement video (one of several versions posted on their yourbrandlive landing page) they said that the photos with USA on the slide were all photoshopped and the legit ones said AUSTRIA as all of them are being made in Austria for now, possibly in the US later on. In the above quoted video, the official GLOCK "commercial" at 2:40 you can clearly see one of the "photoshopped" pistols.
