LOL! I did that back in 1978... still remember this red-headed surgery nurse who... oh, never mind... still think it was a good decision -- we had two kids, didn't want any more, all worked out well!

The best bet is to keep really cold beers in your groing while watching recorded football games and such. Keep cycling cold beers through...only bad part might be the walk to the bathroom to pee.

Also, in keeping with doctor's orders, you have to check the pipes after a few days...be prepared for some colors that you have never seen come out of that thing before!

I hope yours goes as well as mine did.

Cool man, thanks for the advise. You know I'm kind of bummed because I like to run and lift weights and I can't do either. I went to pick up my daughter and the wife started yelling at me. I feel like an invalid. The doc said like six weeks before I'm actually infertile, but I don't think it will take that long, if you know what I'm saying.

Yeah you gotta take it easy. On day two I got too confident and went about my daily routine. The next day it felt like a midget was hanging from my sack, and I'm pretty sure I set back the healing another few days.

They have "scalpeless" procedure now where they just poke holes to work through. I had no incision, no stitches and the holes healed by day 4 or 5.

I had it done about 20 years ago, piece of cake (so to speak). Keep the boys iced down and listen to the doctor. As for when you're "safe" for the wife, it can be sped up, i.e., the more times the quicker the sperm are flushed out.

Man I got a boy and a girl, they only make two kinds, I counted my blessings and was done. To be honest, the girl was an angel, the boy's the one that made me want to get snipped. Kid is a nightmare.

I'm with you. I had 2 kids, hit replacement level reproduction, and didn't want my wife taking hormones for the rest of here life. DO TAKE IT EASY!!!!! I have a fairly physical job and went right back to work. Big mistake, mine turned black and blue and hurt for 2 months. And my doctor was a turd and didn't give me any vicoden before or after the surgery, had to make due with ibuprohen.

By the way, for someone who "Get's off on the pain", why are you sitting around on vicoden and whiskey?

Hahaha, I still get off on the pain, but not in that section of my body. Furthermore, the pain I get off on is PT pain. You know veins pump battery acid. Thanks for the advice.

Follow the doctors orders. You'll start feeling better by tomorrow, but believe me one wrong move will remind you real quick to take it easy. It took about two weeks for me to get back to 100% normal. The only lingering weirdness I have is sometimes after doing the deed it'll actually feel like I have blue balls since the boys are ramping up production and it has no where to go. It's like opposite blue balls.

I just turned in my first sample for testing yesterday, just waiting to hear the results.

So... Your balls threaten to explode after sex.
