2nd BayouShooter Spyderco Sprint Run

Seems there are a large number of voters that aren't interested, not surprisingly.

We also have a good bit of turtle lovers.

I'm pretty sure some people will buy more than one "myself". The biggest thing for me is a plan edge blade. I'm not a fan of the wave feature but it wouldn't stop me from buying a couple.

We're currently at 107 voters saying they would buy one or would buy if it's what they want. Some of those votes are just fluff, as always, and will not actually count towards the final number. That being said, even if we had 150-200 knives bought, I don't believe that's enough for another sprint run.

IIRC, the first sprint run was 500-600 knives total. The first batch was 300 pieces, with the rest soon after.

With a Paramilitary 2, we may be able to do the black blade/OD green G10 with less pieces, because the DLC blade is standard production. For the BayouShooter Endura, the blade blade is not standard production and added to the build time/cost.

The original poll had about 350 saying they would buy.

I don't think BS gets the same "posting" traffic as it used to, but there are a lot more members now. A little OT, but I think the economy and classified changes made that happen.

I would agree with that the new rules seemed to make posting go poof. The most intresting threads now are those that ask Leo's questions here... Personally I think posting in classifieds killed it. Even I don't frequent this site as much as I once used to now as of late I have because of this thread it's probably the most I've posted in a long time. The members count going up is due to feature of having to join after browsing so many times right?

I'm just trying to create interest. I am in no way going to make the effort to get this accomplished.

The biggest issue, that I've noticed over the past years on BayouShooter, is the amount of new members that are not computer literate.

I use Tapatalk to interface with BS and didn't see the poll until I actually logged into BS versus just looking at the phone. I know it mentions the poll in the first post but for the couple pages I read in the middle of the thread it didn't click that there was a poll going on. It's possible that there are others like me who don't realize this?

I own 3 of these knives from the first run and am totally excited to hear they may have a second run of the same knife. I would probably get 2 more if the style is the same and really would like to see it in OD green or black

I don't recall any black on black Endura's, let alone a black/black waved Endura. However, a black on black Paramilitary 2 is a standard production model and would not qualify for a sprint run, unless it was done in a different blade steel other than S30V.

I have a black on black endura 4, however it does not have the wave. I would buy 2 pm2's of it were the same color scheme as the previous forum knife, gold logo and all.

I had to look up a Black/Black Endura. I've never seen one until now.

The previous forum knife didn't have a gold logo, it's just laser etched.

I'd prolly buy one no matter what config but definitely prefer it without that stupid bottle opener on top. And black blades are not my favorite either. Plain edge or combo second choice.

Spyderco does not make any double edge knives, to my knowledge. On double edge folding knives, the blade must be completely covered by the handle so you don't go slicing your hand to bits.
