I have 2 RATS in my car. I should carry one with me but I don't.
    IFAK also in my car.
    I carry 2 extra mags.

A lot of people ask me for a dollar. I don't know if any of them could be classed as Dindu Nuffins though. The purpose of the PC is to limit the likelihood of taking an immediately fatal bullet, not stop me from being perforated.
Im in Law enforcement in New Orleans, and dont even have this type of armor. Holy **** dude paranoid much?

Suburbazine, no wonder you need a plate carrier. You do the **** I tell my wife not to do.

I don't have that problem with my wife, it's more that she loudly talks crap about the people who are too lazy to put a buggy up in the Walmart parking lot. She has gotten better over the last couple years when we have our 3 year old with us.

    Fixed that for you.

As I sit down here in downtown BR getting the past midnight experience with roving criminals, homeless druggies and people that avoid me because they see my flashlight. I'm here till 0700, entertain me! I get to call an entire city block on 7th my territory until then.

And no I'm not suited up.

0527...it has been a fun night.

What are you doing downtown in BR from 1 to 7 AM outside with a flashlight?

I took the liberty of creating a new thread so you people can continue your petty argument / discussion. I'd love to see some actual research come out of this supporting each side's opinion.

This truly is the thread that keeps on giving! Were you really expecting anything logical to come out of this? I don't know how far the rabbit hole goes, but I think we're about to hit rock bottom... We might just strike oil.

On a serious note: I was in baker at greenwood park disc golfing with 2 buds. In the parking lot there are 5 people standing around a car (3 guys, 2 girls). They ask us to change their flat, so I walk to my truck and put my bag in it, and shove my 1911 in my shorts. We go over and I watch my boys change the tire, as I'm not bending over so my pistol won't fall out my athletic shorts... It had set up written all over it. And when I go to most courses I usually keep my sub compact in my bag. yes these are BREC parks, I know, I know. So moral of the story is: People aren't trustworthy nowadays so I have no problem taking the proper steps (whatever they may be in your own mind) to defend myself if necessary, and I won't pass judgment on anyone who does the same.

So how long has your wife been out of Chalmette?

Three guys couldn't change a tire themselves? I would have politely walked away.
