      Is anyone here able to shed some info on St Tammanys hiring process? How long does it take roughly and what is involved? I have an interview and tour of the jail tomkrrow with them for corrections and I'm pretty excited and hopeful. Thanks Ian

      William Perkins WWII Memorial Weekend Mar 15-16

      Might be the wrong place to post but next weekend is the William Perkins Memorial Weekend in Walker, La. There is a bunch of stuff going on like WWII displays with reenactors, blank fire demos and a public battle, lots of WWII weaponry, Livingston Parish SO demo, etc. should be a good time...

      Standing up for your rights...or being a prick?

      I could be wrong, but if the officer is called out due to complaints of a man carrying a firearm, he is required to investigate, which would entail making sure he is not a felon in possession of a firearm right? Wouldn't that be cause to see some ID?
