i've had a similar issue w/ a Daniel Defense rifle. sent it to DD, they tested it and said it was fine. came back to me, still had the issue. really odd thing is, it would work find w/ Federal Bulk pack 223 (the kind you see in boxes at walmart) but with Federal XM193, it would jam.
i'm going to ASSume the Florida company he mentioned is Spike's Tactical. i don't know many companies in florida besides Knight's and Spike's, but i'm sure there are a lot more.
just make sure your hammer does not have that small notch cut out of the front. it will alleviate an issue with the trigger being able to properly reset.
It's not that bad bc if you buy a dedicated lower, bare minimum all you need is a bolt and barrel. You save a bit not needing a gas block and gas tube.
get a clevis pin for the front pivot pin, or try this: Pivot Pin Install
for the bolt catch pin, use vice grips that are taped up to prevent getting imprints of the teeth.
I was told by one of my dealers that the ATF is holding Form 3's for LA till August 1st, when the new law that doesn't require State paperwork goes into effect. Anyone else heard the same?
Honestly, I don't know. We were hitting plates with it and weren't really shooting for groups. Not hard to hit a 6" plate at 50yrds. I know the plate "dink" sound was louder than firing it
It's a great gun. It's light weight and very easy to operate. It's extremely quiet suppressed bc it's basically a bolt action. I like it more than my savage mark ii but its about 2x's the price of my savage.
I use the Belkin Grip candy sheer. It's thin, you can leave the phone face down, and I've dropped my phone about a half dozen times and luckily it hasn't broken anything. I use it in conjunction with a BestSkinsEver front screen shield.
