      How soon is too soon

I started my paperwork for my first suppressor in Oct/Nov 2012. Just got the state approval in May 2013. No telling how long ATF will be. Good thing I knew it was going to be a drawn out experience going in. Oh well, I guess the neighbors will just have to deal with the noise a little longer.

      300 Blackout SBR

Guys, you just don't let me down! I'll give you a little more info as you guys have dissected a lot. First, thank you for the idea of dropping the ballistic compensated scope idea. My thoughts were simply that since I have no formal training with shooting at distances, that the default...

      300 Blackout SBR

What barrel length are you running? Also, what's the scoop with the twist rate? I've seen 1:7, 1:8, and 1:9 (different manufacturers) but I'm curious just the same. I've read that it helps with projectile stability but don't quite understand which is better.

      300 Blackout SBR

So, you guys watching the class iii posts really helped me with my suppressor choice in my YHM post...although I chose the AAC! I'm hoping you can help me with something else. I have an '08 Rock River Entry Tactical that is set up for tactical use with quad rail, Eotech, and foregrip. With...

      7.62 Suppressor - YHM-3300-TI

Wanted to thank you all again. I just went and discussed it with my dealer and although out of stock right now. There's a batch due in within the month and, after my deposit made today, my name will be on one of the AAC SDN-6's. Hope to see you guys on the range some time.

      7.62 Suppressor - YHM-3300-TI

I really want to thank you all for your input. It's exactly what I was looking for. The AAC and YHM cans were in the top two with my preference leaning toward the decreased weight. After hearing you guys, I'll definitely pursue both equally as I imagine my dealer will be more likely to keep the...

      7.62 Suppressor - YHM-3300-TI

I'm definitely not overlooking the AAC's. I'm actually waiting for a list of in-stock suppressors from my dealer. That will play a large role in my decision making process. I understand that if it's not in stock, then the manufacturing time just gets added in, causing the process to last up...

Lawyer for a trust in the Denham Springs?

Don't know of anyone in Denham Springs, but I'm in Central. I'm considering Mark T. Garber for one. His add was actually attached to this thread. I spoke with him over the phone today and it seems like a pretty simple process. I'd suggest you call them or view their website and see what they...

      7.62 Suppressor - YHM-3300-TI

That's actually my next in line. I've spent some time building a comparison sheet of a few popular manufacturers and the AAC is a strong competitor. However, the YHM offers the same can dimensions and comparible suppression (by their published standards). The main difference that drives me to...

      7.62 Suppressor - YHM-3300-TI

Hoping to start paperwork soon on a YHM-3300-TI (titanium) for 7.62. My intent is to get the 7.62 with quick attach for my RRA 5.56. Eventually, I'd like to buy/build/or re-register my lower as an SBR and put a 10.5" 300 Blackout barrel with the YHM on it. Of course I'll keep the quick attach...

      .300blk sickness

Hoping to start the paperwork for a 7.62 can soon. Been considering the SBR tranfer and getting a new 300 upper for my RRA .223. I really like that set up!

Taking time to post for the first time on the site. I am located in Central, La and have been an avid gun enthusiast for over 25 years. My favorites in the safe are my RRA Entry Tactical .223, my Winchester Model 70 .300 mag, and my HK handguns. I think that I'm off to a good start but am...
