The 1750 is an actively marketed case on the Pelican website or at the usual big box stores currently for $335. The rifle in the photo below is a Savage Model 12 with a 26" barrel and 46.5" overall length, to give you an idea if your gun will fit. By my measurements the interior is 50.5" long...

      Cell phone provider options?

I've had Verizon for years. I've never had a dropped call, never a texting problem as you describe. I've never experienced a dead spot coverage area. My wife and I own our phones outright and have had no contract for years. We currently pay $95.08, which includes all fees and taxes, for 3g...

      BRPD Chief Denies Union Representative.

If personal immunity is stripped from police officers, then I think by extension it is removed from the Chief of Police and the Mayor. After all, his department hired and trained the accused officer, so the chief should also be personally be liable. Also, the mayor appointed the Chief, so she...

      Constitutional carry for Louisiana?

I think you're on the right track; if I were Governor I would sign it, but I still don't think open carry is, in most situations, is a good idea for our side. It scares a lot of people, and we need all the 2A supporters we can get. Plus, it can make you a target for bad guys who see you...

Biden considering trying to BAN weapons by EO

I really doubt that. I think no more than 20 percent would turn in a weapon. Even in Australia and New Zealand, a strong majority have not complied. In Australia, you can have a gun but you have to have a good reason. Self defense is specifically excluded by law.

Who is a good defense lawyer for firearm-related issues?

Thank you, JBP55, for your reply. I've been told by parents of an adult child facing a murder change that the lawyer cost starts at about $100,000. He's been in parish prison over three years without a trial.

Who is a good defense lawyer for firearm-related issues?

Like you, I am a law abiding citizen who strongly supports 2A and who often exercises his rights granted by it. But if in the course of doing that I find myself in need of a criminal defense lawyer in the Baton Rouge area who is pro-2A and is familiar with firearm laws, whom should I call? If...
