In the dark, it will be a challenge for quick sight acquisition with any handgun. Of my 2 regulars, 1 has an ArmaLaser that is touch activated, the other has Trijicon, but I practice point and shoot to 7 yards.
There's this, too.
The Sheriff needs to go.
Already traumatized by her time in jail, Cage said the sheriff's office continues to cut into her livelihood by refusing to return her car, which contains all of her music equipment.
Roy Cage, her cousin, said he contacted the sheriff's office several...

Will consider trade for small 9mm. S&W Shield or Taurus PT 709.
This is my girl friend's S&W Bodyguard .380 with Laser. It was the second gun she has ever purchased, just over a year ago. It has about 200 rounds through it. She now has 4 other pistols and has no need for a pocket .380. This...
If I get sued for something my kids do, will the whole community pay the judgement? Can i just accept the money from the thieves, rapists, drug addicts, alcoholics, etc. without letting my kids belong to them?
I've read good reviews on the Hammers, but Leaper/UTG and Hawke seem to be the best values.
My eyes won't let me shoot that well past 20 yards anymore, so I scope everything. The scope that comes with the Hatsan 95 isn't bad, it just doesn't focus well in closer than 10 to 15 yards. If you can...
Check out the review on airgunweb.com . Hatsan has been steadily improving in quality over the past few years. For a .22, the 95 seems to be one of the best values out there.
On another note, I did a break in with my new Ruger .177. It settled down to 973 fps 5 shot average using Crosman...
Definitely a .22, at least 700 fps, but the closer you can get to 800 the better. You would want to generate at least 15-20 ft lbs at the muzzle and that would be sufficient out to 30 yards with a head shot.
Now that's a nice air rifle. I thought about getting one of the clones to play with, maybe converting it to nitro piston, but I wouldn't change a thing on an RWS german made rifle. I did get a Marauder so I could shoot 1000 fps with the heavy .22 pellets, since they are so smooth and no recoil...
I couldn't resist the deal on amazon for a Ruger Blackhawk, prime, $99 delivered in 2 days. I got it in today, and just for grins, I shot a 7.9 grain pelllet across the chrony, first thing. 1246 fps. LOL. That's 27 ft lbs from a .177. I know it will settle down to around 15-16 ft lbs, but still...
That one is a hit or miss when it comes to consistency. In .22, I would recommend the Hatsan 95, or the Hatsan Striker 1000. The difference is really in the trigger. The 95 will run about $150, and the Striker about $100. For power and accuracy in a .22, they are hard to beat for the price.
