The local shop just got a GP 100 in today. I tried it in the holster and it fits very good. On a side note, that GP's a pretty nice gun. Might have to get me one of those.
I was looking for some 7.62 Nagant ammo and I saw this deal. You have to buy a whole case but it works out to be .20 a round. It's manufactured in Russia from the Novosibirsk Plant
I don't know anything about the site though. The prices look pretty good for Russian/Serb ammo...
Living up north The Spotted Dog in Columbia is my go to pawn shop. Lots of great people and pretty good prices on their guns, especially the used ones.
I've got a Bianchi 5BHL large revolver S&W, black basketweave. It fits 6" barrels. I sold my Smith in '95 or '96 and this has just been in the safe. Just bought a '75 Marlin 336 and would like to put a scope on it and figured I could maybe swap a old holster for an old scope. If anybody's...
I've got a super quick recipe I use when the kids want tacos. It'll work for burritos too. Put 3 boneless and skinless chicken breast in a microwave dish. I use a 1 1/2 qt Pyrex dish. Then I slice some onion over the top as well as a 1/2 tsp minced garlic. Then pour a can of chopped green...
I've taken 3 or 4 of them with my Benjamin .20 cal with domed pellets. Just get within 10 or 12 feet and make it a head shot, it'll knock the snot out of them. I had to clean up with another shot on two of them but they didn't go anywhere after the first shot. I have a Beeman .22 cal that I...
Oh, I need to mention that moa accuracy is guaranteed from the factory, as well as a lifetime warranty on the gun.
I'll throw in a 7 round hunting mag to go with the 30 rounder.
The cartridge loops on the sling should help with the reloads but I still wouldn't try it.:)
I edited the the title to H&R. When I posted, I looked the end of the box and saw the NEF on there. The box end is stamped with both names and the gun is marked H&R. It is the Marlin era gun not the...
It would be great for deer and hogs within resonable range. You can also use it for primitive hunting, so you can use it all year round. The 45-70 has killed a million buffalo, so there's not much in the America's it won't kill. Not sure I'd hunt Brown Bear with a single shot though.
The gun is like it came from the factory. I imagine it's comp ready if thats what you want to do with it. It's suposed to get sub .5 moa. I can't quite shoot that good to put it to the test. I can shoot sub moa with it though.
Here's where you can find more info on it.
