      So, what I’m hearing from most of these posts is, some of you agree that after you pass a background check and/or after you obtain a concealed carry permit, that you’re ok with them confiscating your firearm (which they cannot prove that you still own) at any time? Be careful what you wish for...

      Firearm ownership

      Had a gun stolen. Called it in and filed a report. 13 months later I received a call asking if I was still missing the firearm. I said yes, and they said it had been recovered and I could swing by to pick it up. No bill of sale was asked for.

      Agree with the above suggestions, and strongly suggest a high performance thermal layer like they sell at Cabela’s or any ski specialty store (massey’s if they’re still open).

      Bought 3 suppressors and an SBR back in April from interstate Guns, 5-1/2 months...individual. Was very surprised. This was my first NFA type of purchase and they made it seem very easy and were extremely knowledgeable.

      I like the Ballistics AE app. I use a Leica ballistics rangefinder for hunting. A good chrony and handloading helps, then lots of range time.

      Biloxi had true "Steel Challenge" matches. Lafourche speed shooters was more of an outlaw style match. I'm not sure if the matches are still held in Biloxi.

      Carrying Pistol on WMA

      An entrance wound is not scientific proof of the caliber. Skin elasticity, bullet shape, and whether or not the bullet hit anything (causing the bullet to impact sideways) prior to hitting the animal will all result in varying entrance holes.

      Trading in a vehicle

      They will start off using KBB, and they will drop one level lower than actual. I just traded in (Monday) a 2014 vehicle that had not a scratch on it and they started with "good" value then deducted $1500 for a windshield and tires. This was after negotiating the price of the new car first...

      I started off with a Lee loadmaster. After taking apart the primer station numerous times, I finally got frustrated enough to buy the Dillon 650. That was the best decision I've made. It's truly an awesome press. I now have a rock chucked to reload 7mm mag, 300 win mag, and 308 for precision...

      22 Competitions?

      Nicks has 22 rifle matches on Saturday mornings. Season is over now but should start back up in January I believe. Rifle bench rest match, 50 yards, about 80 rounds, Ammo included in match fee. And it's not as easy as it looks lol.
