+1 for Bigchillin83's suggestions.
I'm 76 and my hands are getting to know this guy, Authur Rightus.
My salvation was finding Powder Manufacturer published loads for .357s that shoot like .38 S&Ws and yes, I realize I can shoot .38 S&Ws in my .357s but I still have enough .357 cases to want to...
shifter268,
First, please assume I know nothing about your issue because of terminology concerns.
I have headspace gauges for testing a new build, barrel/bolt combination and I have case gauges for checking reloads.
What I have had success with is using a RCBS X-FL Die Set .223 REM.
My notes...
KYIV -- A pizza place in Ukraine’s capital held an unusual promotion earlier this month: Buy a gun, get a free pie.
Get a free medium or large pizza pie, that is -- eat-in only -- if you can show you purchased a firearm or received a gun permit in January.
The three-day offer was available at...
I have sig 365XLs, CZ P-07 and the Shield Plus, of late.
I enjoy all of them but, to me, the P365XL (I have factory sights on one and a Holosun Red Dot on another) is the easiest to carry and accurate in my large hands. The P-07 and Plus are just as accurate but larger for my 6'2" 225 lb...
+1 on the Remington R1, Enhanced in my case, needs nothing other than what came on it.
It's accurate, dependable, eats damn near anything and has factory, fiber sights for my old eyes,
I've only put an allen wrench on it, once, to tighten up the trigger overtravel screw that was backing out...
A-1 SAFE TECH LOCKSMITH
(985) 641-9695
Mr. Lemoine is in Covington but has a truck that he uses to service safes.
He just did an excellent job rebuilding my safe lock two weeks ago and he knows how to drill a safe as well.
He is a retired Slidell Fire Chief and has done locksmithing for 30 years.
The range/rental idea was the best suggestion.
I'd just like to point out that the .380 EZ comes with and without an external safety, I'm not sure about the 9mm version.
I have the external safety and had to send it back for a recall even though I never had the problem of the external safety...
If anyone is getting Toric lens replacements for cataract/astigmatism correction, in my case, I will need reading/shooting glasses as well.
Dr. Slagel, in Slidell, is going to help me get the correct glasses after my final exam tomorrow.
He said the distance for shooting pistols was "medium"...
I agree with Chris@InterstateGuns's advice.
I had a FFL in the 70's and my biggest concern was what the agent would be looking for during his initial store visit and having all the required paperwork perfect.
The agent was through but a great guy to work with.
I hope that still holds true...
